Busy month for Escape Group

Escape Group has secured over £400,000 of contracts this month (September) and added four staff to its team in Aberdeen, Glasgow and the Highlands.

The contracts include IT infrastructure and support work for the education and energy sectors. The securing of projects within the nuclear and renewables industries has resulted in new appointments in the firm’s Caithness office to provide a local presence for these customers.

The firm recently implemented a £250,000 remote monitoring and management software solution to further improve its managed service provision. This provides real-time information on issues, reporting and asset tracking functions as well as allowing the team to remotely control and repair client computers without the user browsing to any specific web page or application. This results in cost savings and time savings for clients around the world.

Robin Parkinson, director, Escape, said:  “Escape Group is performing well and we have expanded significantly with new streams to the business including a software specialist business and IT resourcing division. Each part of the Group compliments the other and has resulted in our clients benefiting from the investments we have made and the expertise we now offer in IT strategy, support, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and providing highly trained engineers in each discipline.

“We continue to focus on the global oil industry and have also diversified into the construction, renewables and nuclear industry and continue to see an increase in firms looking for an outsourced IT function.”

Formed in 1999, Escape is an energy-focused provider of business technology solutions offering IT infrastructure consultancy and outsourced IT solutions to both UK and International companies. Escape Group launched a software division last year specialising in Microsoft Dynamics Nav and Entrust, an IT resourcing specialist.
