Aberdeen-based IT and telecoms provider, Escape, has appointed Neil Gordon to further strengthen the Escape management team. Recognised as the fastest growing IT company in Scotland, Escape has become an award winning company and is currently focusing on long term plans for continued growth.

Neil joins Escape as General Manager from AVC Media Enterprises. Neil was Director of Remote Data Services (RDS) and was responsible for developing it from a small IT company to one of the top Satellite Engineering Companies in the UK and Ireland - as recognised by BT. Having worked with AVC for 12 years, Neil was head of the Media Productions Division and played a central role in developing existing and new business opportunities as well as significantly raising the company’s profile.

Neil brings to Escape extensive business management experience in a variety of fields. His key role within the organisation will be to ensure that the strong growth of the company continues by developing the business operations in line with the long term strategy.

Neil said: “My aim is to establish Escape as the preferred IT specialist in the North East of Scotland by investing in our people and technical resources.
