Aberdeen-based Escape Business Technologies has been awarded ‘Top Reseller for SMB Security Sales 2006’ in the Scottish category of Trend Micro’s annual achievement awards. The rapidly growing communication technologies firm beat off competition from many other Scottish companies, recently accepting the accolade at an award ceremony in Edinburgh.
Trend Micro is an innovative leader in the creation of anti-virus products and services. Escape uses this technology to help companies manage the explosive costs of virus outbreaks, by preventing viruses from spreading, and minimizing their impact.
Escape director Mike Bain said: “Everyone at Escape worked really hard during 2006 to ensuring we became Scotland’s only Trend Authorised Partner, this was carried out by our Sales and Engineering teams ensuring we attained the highest level of results and technical training – the award is testament to the hardwork put in by our whole team.

“Escape has experienced rapid growth in the past year, doubling our turnover from £1million to £2million in 2006. This accolade from Trend further confirms that 2006 was a healthy period of development and with several big contract wins already secured, 2007 also looks like an exciting year for the company.”
